Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive embedded hardware development for card personalization products. You will contribute to PWB/PWA design, embedded firmware, prototyping, debugging, and vendor/manufacturing collaboration from concept to production.

You will lead system-level discussions, perform design reviews and tradeoffs, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment focused on reliability and manufacturability. Minneapolis, MN in-office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in embedded hardware design, schematic capture, layout support, and board bring-up.
• Proven ability to design, bring up, debug, and deliver embedded hardware systems.
• Experience with analog/digital circuits, DC/DC supplies, and common interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB).
• Experience coding in C/C++ and/or VHDL/Verilog; cross-functional teamwork required.
• Must be able to work lawfully in the US with unrestricted work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design, schematic capture, prototype, and support PCB layouts from concept through production.
• Develop complex embedded systems with mixed-signal design and high-speed interfaces.
• Lead design reviews, tradeoff analyses, and system architecture discussions.
• Develop or support firmware/FPGA designs and test verification.
• Lead board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis to resolution.
• Support transition of designs into production and qualification to regulatory standards.
