Job summary

Marvin Test Solutions in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr. Embedded Design Engineer to lead the design of embedded systems for airborne applications. You will develop firmware for SOCs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers while evaluating requirements for new product designs.

Experience in FPGA design and Embedded C is essential; MIL-STD-1553 knowledge is a plus. Some travel may be required as part of program execution and customer support.

Qualifications

• Experience designing FPGAs, microcontrollers and MIL-STD-1553 is a plus.
• Strong Embedded C development skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements for new embedded product design and propose the best implementation approach.
• Develop firmware and software for embedded products using SOCs, PLDs, and FPGAs.
• Develop firmware/software product specifications.
• Develop software drivers and applications.
• Test, integrate, and troubleshoot prototypes.
