Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant development environment.
• Knowledge of end-to-end FPGA and embedded controller firmware/software development – design, build, and V&V for high reliability electronics.
• Proficiency in HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) and C/C++ with Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Decompose system requirements to electronic subsystem requirements via design trades and analysis.
• Define conceptual design architecture, block diagrams, and I/O definitions for embedded electronics for LRUs.
• Design and develop high reliability PCB circuits for ECU and embedded modules.
• Perform schematic capture, select components, and generate BOMs.
• Simulate and analyze board circuits using LTSpice/Qspice and similar tools.
• Oversee HW assembly and generate Assembly Instructions for initial and rework.
