HP is seeking a Firmware Engineer to drive design, development, and debugging of embedded software for HP Print products. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware, ensuring reliable operation and seamless system functionality.

The role requires experience in C/C++, RTOS, Linux, and debugging, with responsibilities spanning design enhancements, testing, and performance optimization. Relocation is possible; 25% travel and full-time schedule are noted.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of firmware development or embedded software experience.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems concepts.
• Experience with RTOS multithreading and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for HP Print products with focus on reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
• Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation for firmware components.
• Identify and resolve firmware issues through root-cause analysis and robust fixes.
• Analyze performance, memory usage, and power consumption; implement optimizations.
