Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Embedded Electrical Engineer in Houston to design, develop, and support embedded systems powering our industrial products. You will work from concept through production on complex technologies with a collaborative team.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in embedded systems, and hands-on experience with hardware/software integration, testing, and debugging. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $135,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded systems background (required).
• Proven experience in full-cycle product development.
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration, system-level testing, performance tuning, and embedded debugging tools.
• Strong programming proficiency in C or C-based languages.
• Working knowledge of IDE toolchains including compiler, linker, assembler, and loader.
• Experience with serial communication protocols such as RS-485, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Ability to read and interpret microprocessor/component datasheets and manufacturer application notes.
