Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer to support rack power distribution products. You will design and implement high-quality firmware for real-time embedded platforms, collaborating with design, test, and quality teams throughout the product life cycle.

The role emphasizes C/C++ development, RTOS integration (e.g., FreeRTOS), debugging, and maintaining robust documentation while balancing constraints of low-power, high-volume manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of relevant firmware experience.
• Experience with analog-to-digital sensors.
• Experience with microcontrollers and peripheral development.
• Proficient in C and C++ with RTOS experience.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting firmware.
• Experience with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS.
• Experience with concurrency and real-time constraints.
