Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years of applicable experience.
• Ability to meet with globally distributed team members occasionally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for industrial instrumentation and connectivity solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation of wired and wireless communication technologies across Emerson's instrument portfolio.
• Develop software for distributed embedded systems using modern microcontrollers, processors, OS, and networking technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, cloud, cybersecurity, and product engineering teams through the product lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and communication issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept and innovation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, software requirements, design specifications, and verification plans.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical leadership within project teams.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
