Firestorm Labs is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to develop and deploy flight‑critical embedded software for next‑generation unmanned aerial systems. You’ll work on avionics, boards, and cross‑domain integration with a fast‑paced team in San Diego.

The role emphasizes hands‑on development, MISRA C compliance, secure boot features, and field validation in lab and operational environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems development.
• U.S. Citizenship due to ITAR and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Strong networking knowledge and Linux/Windows proficiency.
