Job summary

Enphase Energy, Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced embedded software/firmware engineer to join the core Engineering R&D team launching storage products.

You'll develop integration software for batteries and inverters and work closely with hardware engineers to map firmware architecture. The role requires 8+ years in embedded software or 6+ with MS, strong C and Python skills, RTOS (Zephyr preferred), and experience with ARM Cortex-M4/7.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• MS/ME with 6+ years of relevant embedded software experience.
• Proficiency in Python to automate workflows.
• Expertise in C for real-time applications.
• Experience with RTOS such as Zephyr.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and code for system integration, batteries and inverters.
• Develop board- and system-level embedded software for solar and battery products.
• Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to document firmware design architecture.
• Leverage AI to perform EVT and verify sanity.
• Work with SDVT engineers to test and troubleshoot prototype designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and work across product domains.
