Job summary

Metric DCX in the United States is seeking a senior technical leader for its R&D electronics team. This dual hands-on role blends architecture, embedded development and engineering leadership to deliver high-reliability products.

Qualifications

15+ years in electronics/embedded development.
Embedded firmware experience with Rust and async runtimes (Embassy).
Strong C/C++ and assembly skills.
Engineering leadership experience.
Experience delivering products from concept to commercialization.
MSc or PhD in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a mid-sized embedded/firmware engineering team.
Design and develop embedded firmware using Rust, including async runtimes.
Collaborate with hardware, schematics and low-level system architecture.
Lead products from concept through NPI, commercialization and lifecycle support.
Develop distributed control systems across wired and wireless networks.
Work with multi-core architectures and fault-tolerant, high-availability requirements.
Collaborate across software, product, quality, supply chain and regulatory teams.
