Uber Technologies Inc. is launching AV Labs to accelerate autonomous data collection and partner ecosystem. You will design, write and maintain C firmware and drivers for automotive MCUs, own bootloader and secure update paths, and bring-up custom hardware with hardware debugging tools.

This role demands 7+ years embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS or bare metal. Sunnyvale, CA-based, base salary range USD 180,000–200,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 7+ years developing embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS or bare metal.
• Hands-on firmware and driver work on automotive MCUs with CAN/CAN-FD and Ethernet.
• Experience taking embedded systems from prototype to production in automotive/robotics domains.

Responsabilités

• Design, write and maintain C firmware and drivers for automotive MCUs (AURIX TC3xx preferred) on FreeRTOS/AUTOSAR Classic.
• Own the bridge between vehicle CAN-FD buses and the compute SoC, including buffering and timestamping.
