Title: Lead Embedded Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience: 12+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of SoC platform (BSP, POSIX, Adaptive Platform, SoC Drivers...etc.) development experience and 4+ years of experience in automotive, AD/ADAS, or other embedded system low-level domains.

Technology Stack: SoC Interfaces, AD/DAS Sensors, Image processing, Hypervisors, container engines

Requirements

1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
3. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
4. Deep understanding of SDV Enablers, Zonal Network, high-performance central compute modules, automated driving, AI, machine learning, perception modules, connected mobility, MLOps, and OTA updates.
5. Technical experience with:
1. SoC Hardware: Ethernet, USB, UFS, Display Port, PCIe, QUP (Qualcomm Universal Peripheral), UART, SPI, I2C, Inter Core Communication, Camera, CPU Kryo, ARM Cortex R-52, Hexagon Tensor Processor, Server, Accelerators, DDR, Flash ROM, MMU.
2. Software: POSIX OS, QNX, Board support packages, middleware, hypervisor, container engines, and AD/ADAS technology stacks.
3. ADAS Features: Good understanding of Image processing, Image transfer, Video Input and Video output handling in SoC platform software development.
4. Strong understanding of Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR software architecture and good experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
5. Strong Understanding of CPU/GPU architectures, data structures, OS internals, multi-threading, inter-process communications, memory management techniques.
6. Extensive hands-on experience in BSP porting and device driver internals.
7. Nice to have NVIDIA Drive OS experience and Hypervisor virtual platforms.
8. Good to have NVIDIA platform Foundation services runtime software stack.
9. Experience in writing interfaces to PAL/ HAL level and middleware level.
10. Good understanding of Linux and Android middleware native components.
11. Nice to have multimedia middleware components exposure.
12. Create requirements and develop image quality software modules.
13. Develop Architecture and design for assigned tasks.
14. Development and debugging of applications or device drivers on embedded Linux/QNX.
15. Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ programming and systems architecture.
16. Excellent understanding of Linux, Android native and java framework.
17. Good to have Application development in QNX, Linux and Android.
18. V-Model, ASPICE, MISRA, ISO26262, Cybersecurity and Agile framework.
19. Familiar with crypto algorithms, and cryptographic authentication methods.
20. Ability to read schematics, electrical block diagrams, and IC datasheets.
6. Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools, is also required.
