Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to advance electronics hardware development across multi-disciplinary programs. You will contribute to next‑gen processing, computing and sensor/actuator hardware with COTS FGPAs, processors, or SOCs.

Expect hands‑on design, prototyping and collaboration across teams. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in electrical engineering, strong design discipline and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in electronic design and hardware development.
• Ability to translate requirements into hardware architectures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into hardware architectures with cross‑functional teams.
• Build, debug, test prototypes and deliverables; support manufacturing documentation.
• Mentor less experienced teammates and contribute to proposals and business development.
• Work on complex PCB designs including digital electronics, sensor interfaces and power distribution.
