Job summary

DeepSight Technology is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead embedded hardware and firmware development for ultrasound systems. You will bring up and optimize subsystems, design robust test infrastructure from prototype to production, and work within a regulated medical-device startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Masters/PhD preferred).
• 7+ years of embedded systems experience with hardware and firmware.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python; Rust a plus.
• Experience with FPGA design (Verilog/VHDL/Amaranth) and mixed-signal circuits.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement embedded hardware and firmware for ultrasound subsystems (mixed signal, RF, optoelectronic).
• Extend and maintain firmware with emphasis on quality, reliability, and performance.
• Develop HIL and automated production testing tools for rigorous validation.
• Lead test specifications, tolerances, and regulatory documentation input.
• Own FPGA RTL development (Verilog/VHDL/Amaranth) and data acquisition pipeline.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and manufacturing for integrated design.
