DEKA Research & Development seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead embedded electrical circuit design within a multi-disciplinary team for a state-of-the-art medical device program. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, DFx, testing, and production support.

The role requires a strong background in analog and high-speed digital design, proficiency with Altium, and hands-on debugging. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with IEC 60601-1 and ISO 13485.

Formación

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• ,

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop circuit boards with mixed analog and digital circuitry, schematics, PCB layout, and DFx.
• Perform testing, debugging, and failure analysis; create test fixtures for development and production.
• Create clear documentation including block diagrams, requirements, design descriptions, procedures, and failure analyses.
• Develop prototype devices using originality to meet project goals.
• Derive electrical specifications and architectures from system requirements.
• Apply electronic design techniques to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, systems, software, and test engineers for rapid development.
• Follow DEKA processes, design controls, and documentation requirements.
• Manage external design partners and suppliers.
• Balance multiple assignments across varying scopes and timelines.
• Provide SME input across the company.
