Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an experienced cybersecurity R&D staff member to secure embedded hardware systems such as flight vehicles and rocket systems. You will perform research, capability development, and analyses using empirical and computational methods to design and secure embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI clearance which may require a polygraph test
• Graduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is highly desirable
• Experience in cybersecurity research and embedded hardware security topics may be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support lab-wide efforts focusing on cybersecurity of embedded hardware systems.
• Perform research, capability development, and analyses to secure, design, and analyze embedded systems.
• Collaborate with peers and management across Sandia to advance capability development and assessment.
