Job summary

Chipton-Ross, Inc. seeks a Principal Embedded Cryptographic Software Engineer 3 for a contract in San Diego, CA. The role centers on design, development, integration and testing of cryptographic software within embedded real-time systems.

The candidate will architect and implement end-to-end cryptographic software in collaboration with Systems Engineering, Hardware and Test teams in an Agile setting. On-site work at Rancho Carmel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active US government security clearance (Secret) required.
• Proficient in C/C++ and embedded real-time software lifecycle.
• Experience with cryptographic software and libraries.
• Experience with Yocto or WindRiver Linux and Xilinx platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test cryptographic software for embedded real-time systems.
• Architect, develop and administer embedded software for end-user/enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware and Test teams in an Agile environment.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve issues related to program requirements and data handling.
