Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC seeks a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer with C++ and cryptography expertise for an on-site 12-month contract in San Diego, CA.

You will design and test cryptographic software for embedded, real-time systems, working with agile teams across Systems, Hardware and Digital Engineering. Requirements include a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience or a higher degree with less experience, plus active US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or STEM with 5+ years of related experience or advanced degrees as noted.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance is required.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and cryptographic software development.
• Experience with Yocto, Petalinux or Wind River Linux and Xilinx platforms.
• Familiarity with HAIPE, OTNK, IKE and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Jira/Bitbucket/Git and Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test cryptographic software for end-user customers.
• Architect and implement embedded real-time software across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues in a regulated environment.
• Collaborate in an Agile software development setting with Systems and Hardware teams.
