Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Embedded Software & Controls Engineer to develop next-generation control systems for levitation-based motion platforms. You will implement high-performance DC commutation strategies and distributed control architectures to enable precision 6DOF motion of magnetically levitated structures.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Controls Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of embedded software and controls development
• Strong expertise in real-time embedded programming (C/C++ required)
• Knowledge of control theory and multi-axis motion control

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement real-time embedded control software for levitation systems, including DC commutation algorithms for multiphase actuation
• Develop high-bandwidth closed-loop control for precision positioning
• Create distributed control coordination across multiple nodes and processors
• Integrate software with hardware—power electronics, sensors, and actuators
• Lead system bring-up, tuning, validation, and performance analysis
