Job summary

Randstad Digital in Wisconsin seeks an Embedded Controls Engineer IV to advance ICE engine performance through data-driven analysis, engine controls development, and system optimization. The role leverages ATI Vision and data acquisition tools to improve reliability, emissions, and power across gaseous fuel applications.

The position requires a BS in engineering, 7 years of experience, and collaboration with manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7 years of relevant work experience in automotive development.
• Hands-on engine/engine component development experience.
• Experience with ATI Vision and engine control system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and bring engine controls to market (throttles, fuel, ignition).
• Specify precise design requirements and perform cost/benefit analysis.
• Develop, test, and integrate complex engine control components.
• Plan testing, product specs, and process validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to optimize designs.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support cross-facility travel.
• Travel to other Generac facilities as necessary.
