Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer to join our engineering team in Dallas, TX. This onsite contract role focuses on developing and optimizing Linux-based embedded software and drivers for next-gen devices.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in embedded systems, strong C/C++, Linux knowledge, IPC/RPC, and multithreading expertise. You will collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on embedded systems development.
• Strong expertise in C, C++, Embedded Linux and device drivers.
• Experience with Linux subsystems and BSPs.
• Proficiency with modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and memory/performance profiling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based devices.
• Participate in architecture, prototyping, development, code reviews, and unit testing.
• Develop and optimize software using modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17).
• Work with device drivers, BSPs, and Linux subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, memory usage, and stability.
• Design and implement multithreaded applications and high-performance algorithms.
• Develop IPC and RPC-based communication frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable embedded solutions.
• Ensure high code quality via testing, debugging, and best practices.
