Job summary

QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a seasoned embedded software engineer with strong C++11/14/17 skills and Embedded C. You will work on devices such as set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, and smart TVs, using Embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot).

Applicants should have deep knowledge of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and file systems, plus multithreading, sockets, and network protocols. Strong debugging and performance analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17) and Embedded C.
• Hands-on Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar).
• Experience with set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, IoT gateways, or similar embedded devices.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and file systems.
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Strong debugging and performance analysis skills.
