Qualifications

• Experience in embedded C/C++ with memory management and concurrency.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux for apps and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Git/Bitbucket usage including branching, PRs, and code hygiene.
• Application of software design patterns for modular, testable embedded systems.
• Experience with device-oriented firmware or systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software components in C/C++ for target hardware.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux applications and services; write shell scripts for performance and reliability.
• Manage source code workflows with Git and Bitbucket, including branches and pull requests.
• Apply design patterns to structure scalable, maintainable modules.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and operations to align requirements with business goals.
• Refactor code to improve resource usage and reduce latency.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure secure coding practices.
• Implement configuration and build management for embedded projects; automate builds and deployments.
• Document system designs, interfaces, and procedures for onboarding and support.
• Support integration of device-focused solutions with enterprise systems.
