Job summary

VALIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and optimize software for set-top boxes and other embedded platforms. You will work on C++/Embedded C, contribute to Embedded Linux builds, and integrate networking protocols for IPTV/OTT devices.

The role requires strong debugging and performance analysis skills, plus a solid understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, and device drivers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and Embedded C.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar).
• Experience with set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, IoT gateways, or similar embedded devices.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and filesystems.
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Strong debugging and performance analysis skills.
