Apptronik is seeking a Senior Embedded BSP Engineer to own the BSP, OS configuration, and bring-up for NVIDIA Jetson Thor compute platforms in our humanoid robots. You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, and robot software teams to deliver reproducible, secure OS images and to scale from prototypes to fleets in the field.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years building and shipping embedded systems with Linux and/or QNX.
• Hands-on NVIDIA Jetson (Thor or Orin) experience and JetPack.
• Strong OS-level skills: kernel config, device tree, drivers, upgrades.
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar image builds.
• Understanding of boot processes: bootloaders, initramfs, rootfs.
• Proficient in C/C++ with Python or Bash tooling and Git.
• Hardware debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain BSP for NVIDIA Jetson Thor modules and custom boards.
• Customize boot chain, kernel, and drivers; manage out-of-tree modules.
• Build OS images (Linux via Yocto/JetPack or QNX) with CI builds.
• Tune OS for real-time, low-latency performance and hardware bring-up.
• Own OS lifecycle tooling, OTA updates, secure boot, fleet provisioning.
• Triage boot issues, panics, driver regressions, and thermal throttling.
• Review hardware schematics with hardware team; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Participate in reviews and raise platform quality across the team.
