Job summary

Akkodis is onsite in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area seeking Principal Embedded Aerospace Software Engineers to develop, modify, test, and document embedded software for military upgrades.

You will liaise with internal and external customers, managing requirements for avionics systems in a fast-paced defense program. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace/avionics/DoD environments using C/C++ or C#, with PC Lint, LDRA TestBed and VectorCast proficiency and DOORS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years embedded software design for Aerospace/Avionics/DoD weapons systems using C/C++ or C#.
• Experience with PC Lint, LDRA TestBed and VectorCast.
• Knowledge of DOORS with ability to link requirements to tests.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC and deriving software requirements and tests.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test and document embedded software for military upgrade programs.
• Plan and manage integration projects to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance parameters.
• Suggest design improvements to enhance integrated weapon system capabilities.
