Job summary

Arionkoder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Elixir) to design, develop, test, and deploy world‑class Elixir applications. You will optimize APIs for speed, security, and scalability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and clients.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture discussions, and stay current with Elixir trends to drive innovation across projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with substantial Elixir experience.
• Proven track record delivering secure, performant Elixir-based apps to production.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQLite databases.
• Git proficiency and familiarity with Agile/Kanban workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Elixir-based APIs and services.
• Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure API security protocols are in place to protect data and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver features.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve architecture with senior engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and integrations.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to technical decision making.
• Stay updated on Elixir trends and best practices.
