Qualifications

• Strong production experience with Elixir, OTP, and BEAM fundamentals.
• Experience building applications with Phoenix and LiveView is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and PR processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production systems using Elixir, OTP, and Phoenix.
• Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and production support.
• Build interactive user interfaces.
• Design and evolve systems for high-throughput data processing.
• Work with relational database systems.
• Improve system performance, observability, and reliability in production.
• Participate in incident response, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to architectural decisions with a focus on long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to deliver high-impact features.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure systems meet healthcare data privacy and security requirements.
