Edgewood Properties seeks an Elevator Maintenance Manager for its multi-family portfolio in New Jersey. The role leads the elevator maintenance team, ensuring safe, compliant operation across all properties while managing preventive maintenance, capital projects, and vendor relationships.

The position requires 5+ years in elevator maintenance with supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel between NJ properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in elevator maintenance, repair, or installation with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of elevator codes and safety standards (ASME A17.1/CSA B44).
• Experience managing vendor contracts or maintenance staff.
• Willingness to travel between properties in NJ and hold a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the elevator maintenance department across the portfolio to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs and inspections.
• Manage capital improvement and modernization projects and budgets.
• Coordinate with property management to minimize resident disruption and ensure timely communications.
