Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security seeks a Senior or Lead Electronics Test and Evaluation Lab Technician (Level 4 or 5) at Starfire Optical Range, Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. The role supports Air Force Research Lab in Space Domain Awareness through ground-based telescopes.

The candidate will plan and conduct complex tests, design and build test systems, and coordinate lab activities while working variable shifts. Must meet U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering technician, construction, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is preferred.
• Experience assembling lab prototypes, chassis wiring, and mechanical mounting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document complex tests on products, systems, components, materials, and processes.
• Design, fabricate, build and analyze test systems and methodologies.
• Coordinate test requirements and methods.
• Prepare system tests through integration, fabrication, modification, setup and teardown.
• Perform test article configuration control and document results.
• Identify and resolve test anomalies and troubleshoot lab/test issues.
• Coordinate lab activities, maintenance and repairs, and training.
