Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd in Brownsville, WI is seeking a Senior Electronics Technologist for our R&D lab and PCB prototyping environment. You will transform concepts into working prototypes, perform board bring-up, and support diagnostics in a fast-paced, defense-oriented setting.

Qualifications

Hands-on electronics technician or technologist experience; Associate Degree typical, or 6+ years of bench depth in lieu of a degree.
High proficiency in PCB population, SMD modification, and fine-pitch solder rework.
Able to read and trace complex schematics and wiring diagrams.
Practical use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assemble, modify, and rework prototype PCBs across development and low-volume production.
Conduct board bring-up, bench testing, and root-cause fault isolation with engineers.
Troubleshoot component-level failures on boards and assemblies.
Assist with BOM verifications and calibration/maintenance of lab equipment.
Generate engineering documentation and validation reports per AS9100/defense standards.
