Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician III for North of Las Vegas, NV to perform general technical duties specializing in electronic security systems.

You will install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and verify major subsystems including CCTV, intrusion, access, sensors, and related computing networks. A strong background in electronics, test equipment, and the ability to work on multiple projects is required; DoD security clearance is preferred and U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in electronics or related field.
• At least five years of hands-on electronics and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of security systems, CCTV, access control, and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and test electronic security equipment and records.
• Plan, install, relocate, troubleshoot, and repair intrusion, CCTV, access, sensors, and related equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to component level; ensure systems operate to specification.
• Install, set up, and verify major subsystems; maintain associated hardware (masts, generators, cables).
• Collaborate with clients to determine hardware/software specs for system design and evaluation modifications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
