Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician III for North of Las Vegas, Nevada to perform general technical duties specializing in electronic security systems.

Essential responsibilities include installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of intrusion, CCTV, access, and sensor systems, plus coordinating with clients to define specifications and ensuring proper documentation and testing of subsystems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in math, electronics, or military-equivalent training.
• At least five years hands-on experience in essential functions.
• General electronics knowledge and system/test equipment expertise.
• US Citizenship, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, English fluency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and service electronic equipment and security systems.
• Plan, install, relocate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair intrusion, CCTV, access, and related systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform component-level repairs to restore operation.
• Install/verify major subsystems, including masts, generators, and cables.
• Collaborate with clients to define hardware/software specs and document systems.
