Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in security and electronic systems, seeks an Electronics Technician 4 to join the SES business unit. You will install and maintain electronic security systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support inspections and inventory.

The role leads large installation projects, conducts toolbox talks and safety audits, wires head-end equipment for access control and CCTV, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Military electronics training or equivalent is preferred.
• Graduation from electronics programs or an apprenticeship is expected.
• Additional three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Lead on-site teams on large installation projects with limited supervision.
• Document toolbox talks, safety audits, and project progress.
• Program and install head-end equipment for ACS, IDS, and CCTV.
• Troubleshoot and isolate system or hardware issues at local and global levels.
• Develop project schedules and manage labor hours with supervision.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate RFIs and inspections.
