Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship, and 6+ years of field experience. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys and configures hardware and software.
• Tests systems for proper operation and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads safety compliance and participates in plan development and testing.
• Installs system raceways, cabling, and equipment racks and panels.
• Mentors crew members and coordinates with project teams.
