Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 within the Security and Electronic Systems unit to design, install, operate, and maintain electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

You’ll perform on-site work including installations, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, with travel up to 25% and a focus on safety and quality. The role emphasizes teamwork, client interaction, and adherence to project plans while supporting plant and system commissioning

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or Military Electronics Training (720 classroom hours)
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance
• Requires a Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware/software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Maintains safety requirements and quality controls; communicates with customers and team members.
• Leads commissioning efforts and coordinates with owners and design teams.
• Mentors crew members and supports resource planning and safety processes.
