Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will install, test, and maintain electronic security systems across federal, local and commercial sites, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (720 classroom hours) or Electronics Technician program graduation or Electrical Apprenticeship completion.
• An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and with multiple programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
• Requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes and enforces project safety plans and policies.
• Reviews design documentation for constructability and quality.
• Tracks project metrics and participates in resource planning meetings.
• Verifies timesheet charges on projects.
• Performs installation and maintenance with documented procedures.
• Organizes materials, tools and receiving processes.
• Leads commissioning and tests with adherence to QC plans.
• Communicates with project teams, other trades and customers.
