Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on designing, integrating, and maintaining electronic security services including access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Strong travel and leadership in field installations are required. The position requires 8+ years in electronics installation with 3+ years in security systems, multiple vendor

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (720 hours) or Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Three years of electronics installation/maintenance; 8+ years overall with focus on electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems.
• Lead large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Lead toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
• Install and maintain equipment locally and globally per design packages.
• Program and install head end equipment for Access Control, IDS and CCTV.
• Troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document RFIs, project drawings and daily reports; track progress.
• Integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV into project schedules; manage labor hours.
