Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, modify, install, and test a range of electronics equipment including radar, radio, telecommunication, sonar, and computer systems. The role requires knowledge of electronics theory and hands-on troubleshooting to restore operation and improve performance.

Candidates should have experience with test equipment, be able to work with sensitive military systems, and hold a Secret clearance plus a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Experience with all types of general-purpose test equipment.
Experience with tactical radios including UHF, VHF, and HF.
Knowledge of electronics and electrical theory.
Ability to test, troubleshoot, and repair electronics equipment and systems.
Secret clearance required.
HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, modify, install, and test various types of electronics equipment and devices.
Apply technical knowledge to determine equipment malfunctions and restore operation.
Evaluate performance and reliability of prototype and production models.
Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
