Meet Life Sciences is partnering with a stealth neurotechnology company in San Francisco, seeking a hands-on Senior Electronics Technician to contribute to cutting-edge medical technology. A formal degree is not required; strong practical experience matters most.

The role focuses on precision bench work, PCB soldering at fine pitches, board modifications, debugging, and lab management within a fast-paced environment. Medical device context and IPC familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fine-pitch soldering and PCB rework.
• Comfortable working under a microscope on small, delicate components.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Experience with electronics testing and lab equipment.
• Self-starter who’s comfortable at the bench in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and rework on PCBs, including 0201 discretes and fine-pitch BGAs under a microscope.
• Execute board modifications, debug issues, and support rapid design iterations.
• Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and test procedures with high accuracy.
• Run functional tests on incoming and assembled hardware; document results clearly.
• Support incoming inspection and ensure hardware meets quality standards.
• Assist with lab operations, including organization, equipment upkeep, and basic lab management.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment; coordinate with external vendors as needed.
• Partner closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve designs.
