Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team. The role focuses on field installations, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electronic security and IT systems for federal, local and commercial customers.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and safety compliance are essential. Responsibilities include site surveys, hardware/software configuration, and collaboration with project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes while adhering

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.

Responsibilities

• On-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, conduct site surveys, and test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Lead commissioning efforts and document testing and results.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control per project plans.
