Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers, and lead commissioning efforts with owners and design teams. Qualified candidates bring 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to safety and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Electronics Technician program completion.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program.
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• Three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide technical support.
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners and design teams.
• Ensure safety and quality through documentation and QC checks.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and material purchasing; organize receiving.
• Communicate with project teams, other trades, and customers.
