Join us as a Senior Electronics Technician at UL Solutions

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Energy and Industrial Automation Team in Northbrook, IL. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform tests on equipment and samples for clients, including building and adapting test setups.
• Examine test samples, interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions.
• Follow defined test plans and datasheets to evaluate test performance and results.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
• Modify and develop test equipment based on engineering data and instructions.
• Communicate with customers and engineers during setup and testing processes.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Understand and apply specific test standards and technologies.
• Suggest improvements for equipment and testing processes.
• Report data and findings to engineers and management, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education plus 5+ years of related experience in Electronics preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Innovative, creative, and team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automation integration in testing.

Additional Information

Our total rewards package includes an estimated salary range of $51,600 to $68,700, annual bonuses, health benefits, paid time off, and retirement plans, tailored to location and experience.
