Job summary

Echo Neurotechnologies is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Electronics) to lead end‑to‑end execution of a novel medical device program at the electronics system level in a dynamic startup environment. You will coordinate EE, FW, Systems, Quality and Manufacturing teams while ensuring regulatory and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of program management or engineering leadership experience from concept to production release.
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering, embedded firmware, and V&V activities for electromechanical systems.
  • Experience coordinating external consultants, contractors, and manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with medical device development processes, design controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, and sprint planning for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional engineering teams across EE, FW, Systems, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Drive hardware–software co‑design, board bring‑up, signal integrity, and system‑level debugging.
  • Oversee development of custom ASICs, embedded electronics, microcontrollers, and sensors.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners across all development phases (IDE, clinical trials, PMA).
  • Communicate architecture trade‑offs, risks, schedule dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop detailed program roadmaps with hardware spins, firmware milestones, and risk management.
  • Lead design controls deliverables under FDA/ISO standards (IEC 62304, ISO 14971).
  • Use Jira/Smartsheet/Confluence to manage releases, revisions, sprints, and progress.
