Job summary

Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Technician in Buena Park, CA for a 3-6 month temp-to-hire assignment. You will set up and run standardized tests on electronic/hybrid parts, record test data, and maintain logs and files.

Requirements include a two-year technical degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience, extensive PCB component experience, and strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and read schematics is expected.

Qualifications

Requires a two-year technical degree or >5 years of equivalent technical experience.
More than 5 years of electronic technician experience with discrete/hybrid/PCB components using standardized test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

Set-ups and runs standardized electronic tests on discrete/hybrid parts, components or relays according to published procedures.
Troubleshoots problems with set-up/equipment and corrects when necessary.
Records and interprets test results according to specifications.
Interfaces with engineers and other team members to resolve problems with set-ups, procedures, etc.
