Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Simi Valley, CA seeks a Sr. Test Technician to perform acceptance tests on electro-mechanical assemblies, set up complex tests, record data and verify criteria per ATPs.

You will assemble subassemblies from blueprints, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot, train others, and coordinate with engineering to improve processes. A high school diploma with electronics coursework and 2+ years of test experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational electronics courses.
• Minimum 2 years as test technician in a similar field.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble electro-mechanical subassemblies from blueprints, schematics, sketches.
• Conduct sophisticated engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.
• Perform calibration checks on electronic or electro-mechanical products.
• Solder and assemble electro-mechanical or mechanical assemblies/subassemblies.
• Provide training to other technicians and production personnel.
• Perform board level testing and troubleshooting.
