Intellisense Systems, Inc. in Southern California is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the Tactical Systems Department and contribute to rugged military hardware for air, land, and sea. The role emphasizes circuit design, firmware development, and end-to-end verification.

You will work on leading-edge sensing and computing technologies, ensuring integration across sub-systems and compliance with industry standards, in a fast-paced, on-site Torrance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–8+ years analog/digital circuit design with embedded firmware experience.
• Strong proficiency in C for microcontrollers and HDL (VHDL/Verilog).
• Experience with system-level design and attention to requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics projects from quick-turn to product-level circuit boards using Altium.
• Develop bare-metal firmware in C for PIC microcontrollers or HDL for FPGAs/CPLDs.
• Perform end-to-end development from system requirements to test and verification.
• Plan hardware testing and prototype fielding toward production.
• Collaborate with engineering for cohesive sub-system integration.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
