AutoStore is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for New Product Development Robotics in Atlanta to drive PCBAs from concept to production. The role demands leadership in EMC, safety, and cross‑functional collaboration, with ownership of design and testing in a high-volume context.

You will mentor engineers, influence hardware standards, and partner with firmware for robust control and diagnostics on moving robotic platforms.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in electronics engineering spanning analog, digital and power.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing and global EMS suppliers.
• Sensor interface design and embedded communication bus design in noisy environments.
• CAN, SPE/Ethernet, I2C, RS-485, etc. experience.
• Architected motor driver PCBs and power electronics.
• Embedded electronics for systems from microcontrollers to Linux.
• Safety and compliance issues around fault detection and diagnostics.
• Deep EMC design-for-EMC competence.
• DFM/DFT for high-volume electromechanical products.
• Battery-powered systems and system power budgeting.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring.

Responsabilidades

• Own PCBA from concept through serial production readiness.
• Set hardware architecture, component strategy, BOM cost/risk.
• SCHEMATIC design and layout with SI/PI/thermal outcomes.
• Lead bring-up and root-cause analysis.
• Own EMC and safety compliance from design to pre-certification.
• Lead DFM/DFT/DFx with EMS partners; define production tests.
• Own NPI, pilot builds, and 0-series.
• Partner with firmware on control discussions and fault handling.
• Design robust tech with noise immunity for moving robotic platform.
• Contribute to design standards and reusable building blocks.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers; review designs.
