Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Niceville, FL to design, develop, and test advanced infrared camera systems. You will lead high‑performance PCB work and FPGA firmware, collaborating with global teams to deliver robust sensing solutions.

The role requires a BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 5+ years of PCB design experience, with FPGA experience preferred. Daily tasks include design reviews, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• FPGA firmware design/development experience preferred.
• Experience with Altium Designer, Altera Quartus, JIRA, Confluence, and Perforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance PCB schematics and layouts.
• Design and develop FPGA firmware.
• Participate actively in daily stand‑up meetings, monthly sprint review/planning meetings, and project meetings.
• Innovate, develop, capture, and document new intellectual property.
• Write product manuals, application notes, and technical papers.
