Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience reworking PCBs; solder to add or remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, Function generator, soldering station).
• MS Office skills.
• Altium Designer a plus.
• 3D CAD experience a plus.
• Programming of motor drives a plus.
• Jr. level layout and design of PCBs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs
• Design validation testing (major focus on electronics)
• Conduct testing of mechanical, electrical, and optical components, subsystems and systems
• Document experimental conditions and test results
• Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex parts
• Inspect incoming parts
• Manage lab and lab equipment, including calibration
• Effectively interact with other members of the technical team to create a safe, fun, and productive work environment
• Design and verify cables
